While his brother and sister-in-law were making a splash in North America, Harry was keeping busy with official appearances in the UK. Meanwhile I’ve been busy with a Harry marathon of a different sort so am feeling a little too lazy to prattle on this week. Short and sweet.
Monday July 4th, Prince Harry made an unusual appearance, introducing the Zulu War Talks at St. James Palace. The prince spoke briefly before introducing lecturer Robert Caskie. The lecture tour benefits Help for Heroes. Full text here.
Saturday he represented Army in the Army vs. Navy Rundle Cup polo match. The match benefited the Inspire Foundation and was attended by Katie Price. Yawn. Army won. Yay.
Sunday he attended the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, meeting drivers and teams before presenting the trophy to winner Fernando Alsono. Much was made ahead of time about a possible meeting between Harry and Flo’s ex, Jenson Button. Button did not complete the race but the pair were still forced to pose for some awkward photos. Harry went to the race with members of the Walking With the Wounded team and got a hug from Goldie.

No romance gossip this week. Chelsy and Flo were both spotted out in London but Harry was not spotted with any ladies. That we know of.
And, lastly, in a shocker move Rupert Murdoch shut down News of the World as the tabloid’s hacking scandal grew. Harry’s and William’s phones were among the many the paper allegedly hacked. The 168-year-old paper had become known for scandalizing royalty and celebrities and I doubt many of them will miss it.
